WATERMELONS
growing
Watermelons are grown in the open field; the season begins with transplanting in April, followed by many different operations aimed at ensuring the high quality standards of the final product. At the end of this process, the watermelons are harvested, from the beginning of July up until around the end of August.
packaging
Once harvested, the watermelons are brushed to remove any residues of soil and are then divided into two sizes. Wooden bins are used for transport and sale.
- 100x120x100 bins for watermelons weighing 8-12 kg
- 100x120x100 bins for watermelons weighing 12-16 kg
